Wasps play their First Match on XtraGrass in Singha7

Premiership rugby club Wasps have played their first match on the newly installed XtraGrass pitch by GreenFields UK. Singha7 landed last Friday at the Ricoh Arena where Wasps played their first match against Harlequins. A special role for Christian Wade on the new pitch as he set a new try scoring record in the Premiership 7S with 7 to his name!

XtraGrass is a new product from GreenFields where artificial grass and natural grass are combined in one system. The natural turf is reinforced with artificial turf fibres, a perfect combination between the playability of natural grass and the durability of synthetic turf. Aside from the new pitch, luck is on the side of the Wasps as the team will be in the finals of the Singha 7s Series for the first time since 2011. The finals will be played at the Stoop on 28 August. Good luck Wasps!
