New addition to team GreenFields

We are delighted that Dr Kathryn Severn has joined the GreenFields team as Product Director for the EMEA and Asia markets from the 1^st April 2022.

Following the completion of her PhD at Loughborough University in synthetic turf, Kathryn has gained a wealth of experience and knowledge while working in the synthetic turf industry. Kathryn first joined GreenFields UK in 2010 as their Technical Services Manager before moving to Labosport UK as their Operations Manager and later Technical Director. Most recently Kathryn was the Football Foundation’s Framework and Procurement Manager for their synthetic turf pitch framework. The Football Foundation are the Premier League, The FA and UK Government's charity responsible for delivering grassroots football facilities.

Kathryn is currently based in the UK but will shortly be relocating to the Netherlands to join the GreenFields head office.

She is looking forward to embracing the Dutch way of life and hopefully picking up the language with a little help from her colleagues. In her spare time Kathryn enjoys the outdoors and traveling, and is often found exploring the UK countryside with her dog Poppy. She hopes to continue this in the Netherlands but with a few less mountains to climb.

Dr Kathryn Severn is appointed as Product Director for the EMEA and Asia region at GreenFields B.V. With over 15 years’ experience in the sport turf industry covering R & D, manufacturing, testing and certification, and civil engineering Kathryn is looking forward to developing the GreenFields product portfolio to ensure GreenFields continue to lead the market bringing together new technology, player experience and environmental sustainability, whilst maintaining the highest industry quality standards.
