Scottish Championship team, Falkirk Football Club is having the best season they’ve had in five years on their GreenFields MX pitch.
The club was relegated from the Scottish Premier League back in 2010 and has since been fighting to regain their place following a few years of unsuccessful attempts in the play offs.
“I think it’s one of the best pitches in the country! Every club should have one of these, as a groundsman it’s phenomenal to have the same quality of pitch in June as in December.”
Joe Wallace, Head Groundsman, Falkirk F.C.
With their highest current position to date, second in the table with two matches to go they are guaranteed their place in the play offs and stand an excellent chance of promotion to their former place in the Premier League.
The GreenFields MX synthetic turf installed at Falkirk Stadium is a high quality woven product providing a natural playing experience and a more equal ball roll. The surface is highly resilient, providing less compaction and its durability is second to none. MX has been specifically designed for football with 50mm fibre and is FIFA two star compliant conforming to the rules laid out by the SPL and SFL.
Good luck to Falkirk in their remaining matches of the season and their promotion efforts!
